Meditation Muse, February, 2009:
Free Resources Flowing Your Way
by Nancy Ging, LCSW

Nancy Ging

At all times we have access to vast - and free - resources for our enlivening, for our healing, for our transformation.

Through our breathing process we can, in any conscious moment, take in the spaciousness of All That Is.  the spirit of the whole/the Holy Spirit as available to us as the next breath.  Profound peace can be yours, soothing comfort as close as your next breath.

In addition to the harmony and serenity that can come to us when we focus on our breathing there is also the love within the Earth beneath us which is flowing up into our feet and legs at all times.  we continually receive this energetic gift from the Earth consciously ask for this energy with gratitude and put our bodies on the receptive mode known as the feinine principle.  Just imagine you're pushing a button that says "You're now on YIN". Rhymes with "Taking it IN".

As if these two precious resources of Heaven and Earth were not enough sustenance, we also have the primordial element of fire to focus on for enlivening ourselves and empowering our intentions.  To focus on a candle or a fireplace will re-charge the spark of firelight within your heart.  The flames of your very own sacred heart will be ignited anew as you fix your gaze on a flame and watch it dance with the transformative energy that is fire.  Feel your heart glowing as firelight itself.

Impoverished we are not!  Not ever.  An abundance of support surrounds and enfolds us.  Remember this and connect with it all in humble gratitude for these gifts.
